Fire Safety Dog Survey



The fire safety dogs would like to invite their friends and fans Please take the survey titled "Fire Safety Dogs". Your feedback is important and will help us with our fire safety programming!

When you enter and fill out the survey in its entirety by December 2, 2011, your name will go into a drawing to win some prizes from our friends at First Alert and the Fire Safety Dogs. The drawing will be held by random.org on December 3rd.

Grand prize winner will receive these First Alert products: A two-story escape ladder, Onelink Wireless Talking Battery Operated Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Alarm and Tundra Fire Extinguishing Spray and from the fire safety dogs, the first edition of the award winning book, "Sparkles the Fire Safety Dog" and a "Pawtographed" picture from Tango the Fire Safety Dog and Siren the Fire Safety Dog.

Four runner-up winners will receive a First Alert Onelink Wireless Talking Battery Operated Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Alarm, Tundra and a copy of the first edition of "Sparkles the Fire Safety Dog" from the fire safety dogs. Keep Kids Fire Safe Foundation Welcomes Lori Moon to Board of Directors


Keep Kids Fire Safe would like to welcome Lori Moon as its newest Board of Director! Lori brings a wealth of talent to the organization and we thank her for joining us!

CLARKSVILLE, AR – Keep Kids Fire Safe, Inc., a non-profit organization which helps reduce fire-related injuries and deaths among children, announces the newest addition to its Board of Directors, Lori Moon.

Moon is Program Manager of the Washington DC-based Fire Corps program. She is experienced in preparing and implementing grant tasking, finance implementation and spending, as well as leading a state and regional volunteer advocate network. Having skills at developing program tools and resources, preparing marketing and communication materials, and public speaking, Moon is a true asset to the foundation.

“It's such an honor to be part of the Keep Kids Fire Safe Foundation board,” said Moon. “The foundation has an incredible mission and goals to spread the message of prevention through education. I'm excited for the opportunity to contribute, and feel very privileged to work with such dedicated individuals and partners to achieve an invaluable vision of helping keep children fire safe.”

“Lori is highly energetic and a strong leader,” said Glenn Trembley, Chairman of the Board. “We look forward to benefiting from her experience in the fire service industry.”

Floral Arrangement by Mike Koch Completed for Sparkles' Memorial Service


Mike Koch (from Floral Creations By Mike Koch) just completed the floral arrangement for Sparkles' memorial service. According to Mike, the floral design took 33 hours and 1500 silk rose petals. Mike pulled an all-nighter last night to finish this in time for our trip to Sparkles' memorial service on Wednesday. Thank you Mike, from the bottom of our hearts, for donating your time and talents for Sparkles and her memorial service.

One week from today, Sparkles' memorial service will be held at the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation Walk of Honor at the National Emergency Training Center in Emmitsburg, Maryland. Keep Kids Fire Safe Foundation Visits Clarksville Primary Sch


Keep Kids Fire Safe Foundation visited Mrs. Grigsby's class today, reading a fire safety book, singing fire safety songs and visiting with the children about Siren the Fire Safety Dog and his quest to become a fire safety dog. Siren was also excited to see Principal Ziegler. Principal Ziegler is a huge supporter of fire safety and we love visiting Clarksville Primary!
